The Faizal Mosque is a must-see in Islamabad. In fact, it's one of the few interesting things TO see there! Islamabad is a city of embassies and isn't all that interesting in itself. The Faizal Mosque is Pakistan's biggest and holds up to 100,000 people. It was funded by the Saudis and is very impressive. It has a very modern look about it and is quite unlike any other mosques I've seen. Remember to remove your shoes, cover your head and dress modestly.
