The word Extraordinary is not even getting close to describe the chanel.You can find technical data everywhere but only if you take a cruze can you understand what it is about.We took such a cruze ,a one day cruze.We left Panama docks at about 10 am after we got clearance from the bridge.We passed under the Americanas bridge and passed through two pairs of locks.On the ship we received a continuous update about where we were and history of the places we went by.Fantastic !

Something all should see. If you always wanted to take a cruise but never have make this your first. No other way to properly see the canal and you'll either be hooked on cruising or know it's not for you by the end of the cruise....you'll also have seen the canal - a bonus.
