Just saw Machu Picchu in mid-June. Astounding! As one of the new 7 wonders of the world, it did NOT disappoint! I'd highly recommend hiking up Waynapicchu (aka Huayna Picchu) while you're there. That's that big mountain in the background of those famous Machu Picchu pictures. Amazing bird's eye view of MP from up there. But make sure you get the special stamp on your ticket, or get in line early--they only allow 400 visitors a day.
