The most expensive part of Lima, on the coast, but also an interesting one. You will find there almost everything what is international (i.e. Starbucks) and also there's South American Explorers Club in Lima. I heard that's the best place for night parties in Lima.

Lovely area and felt very safe. We would definitely go back! Hostal El Patio was a GREAT place to stay!! Great value and good location!

very cheap public tranportation ,very interesting sword fish carvings, delicious sea--food.

It is betetr choice to stay than Lima if you are looking calm and quite accomodation.
