Palawan is the best place to be for me in the Philippines! Here you find great diving, great people, relaxation... I slept in a house on stilts what was just amazing :) I bought a big tuna so cheap and did my own sashimi! Here I definitely was happy! The boat trips are good but each get off the boat cost new money... so sometimes it felt like a rip off because you already paid the boats fare before.

definitely one of my favorite places in the philippines. lots to do and lots to see. the tourism board seems to regulate the travel agencies thus limiting environmental impact. that's always a good thing!
