Jan 14, 2009 You can't go to Sagada without caving here. Be sure to go with friends and hire guides. Bring a small waterproof bag that isn't a hassle to carry. Don't bring large waterbottles. Make sure your hands are free so dont bring anything you have to hand-carry. Don't wear closed shoes, better if you wear hiking sandals or sturdy slippers -- you'll have to take them off inside anyway because it's a whole lot easier to go barefoot inside. You will be climbing up and down slippery rocks, rappelling up and down and going through cold water. It's fun and exciting, not that dangerous especially if you have guides. Take a waterproof camera and have lots of fun!!! Dec 4, 2008 You need to have a guide to visit this cave. Better still go with a guide to the "Burial Cave" with coffins up on the walls and travel underground, coming out through the limestone cave. All you need is a shirt, 'bathers/swimmers' or shorts and 'flip/flops' (which are inexpensive locally) and, of course, a camera. Great fun, great challenge and great formations. Mar 21, 2009 Had an amazingly fun time in this cave. The tours are dirt cheap (500 pesos for the 2 of us) and last a couple of hours. The guide we had was very knowledgeable, and also was a great guide for the cave. I felt like I was able to do things I would have found way above my skill level. It was great. Totally worth the horrible bus ride up to Sagada. Feb 14, 2009 This has got to be my favorite spot in Sagada! I've gone to this cave three times already. - Awesome stalactite/stalagmite formations... - Magnificent cave rocks.. - Crystal-clear cool water (there's actually a portion there where people can dip/swim!) A must-see for adventurers Sagada visitors! :)
