Borocay in the Philippines, is all in all a phenomenal place to go and have a nice holiday. The locals are friendly the food is great, the nightlife even better. Families and people that want to enjoy the beach, will find that beautiful white beach offers you everything you might need, little restaurants every few feet, a ton of attractions including diving etc.

But I lost my heart at the freestyle academy, the place I kitesurf from. There's a chilled out vibe going on all day long every day. And it is the only kiteschool on the beach that is owned by locals. Ken (one of the owners) Is probably the best kiter on the beach, but all the instructors are more than qualified to help you take your first steps into kitesurfing.

If you already know how to kitesurf it is an excellent place to launch your kite, chill out on windless days, and meet a bunch of cool people. Don't miss out ;)
