It's been several years ago, but the memory of visiting the Auschwitz camp is still clear. When you're there you get the chance to feel the atmosfere there. It's almost frighting. We had the tour there, with a guide explaining a lot. And the further the tour got, the more sombre the people became. Even the weather went bad. After the first camp we went to Birkenau by bus.
It's frighting to be at such place, knowing what happened there and to see it for real even makes it more frighting. But it was a good experience, because we should never forget what happened there!

An incredibly moving experience. A must visit for everyone. I must say I got chills standing on the ground where one of the worst if not the worst atrocities in human history were committed. It's an easy trip from Krakow, I think everyone should visit the camp, you'll leave changed and humbled.
