Salmopolska pass (pass Salmopol, White Cross) - saddle lies at an altitude of 934 m above sea level in the band Barania mountain, in the Beskid Śląski. This is an important addition to the saddle Kubalonka passes communications in this band - run across the road from the Vistula to Szczyrk. In the years 1965-68 was built by the creek road attractive widokowo, Szczyrk linking directly to the Vistula River. Highway climbs from Szczyrk Salmopol the top six in the curve, pass through the creek on the valley Brennie, and odgałęziający the band back here and Równica trawersując western slopes Malinowa boldly descends to the valley Malinka. This Way, a length of 13 km, built at the time cost of 30 million zlotys, put into service 22 July 1968 Przełęcz Salmopolska became the highest available komunikacyjnie passes in the Silesian Beskid, and after the saddle Lipnicki (Krowiarki) at the foot of Babia Gora - other Beskidy throughout Poland.
