Oct 22, 2008 Poznan is actually a wonderful place, especially for students, there's so much life and movement, I've been there twice and have always got the best impressions. You should actually see Stary Rynak and Ratusha (Old town), there you can enjoy watching two goats "fighting" right at midday on the local clock:) It's fantastic to see Poznan cuz there's always something new there to explore. Apr 29, 2009 Beautiful place with nice architecture ..... on the old town square you will find zero class monument - town hall. We will also find there - balance, cloth halls and stalls, shambles, arsenal and guardhouse. Its third biggest town square in Poland and one of the most beautifull. You will find there also nice fountains such as Apollo, Neptun. Mars and Prozerpina's. Jul 29, 2008 My friends and I backpacked there in May/June and the weather was perfect. Old town square is very festive during our stay with street performers, musician and food vendors all over the platz. Although surrounded by restaurants, the BBQ cook out that sends the smell of polish saussage in the air is highly recommended! Aug 13, 2008 The oldest medieval square of Europe. At this square you can find restaurants, pubs, clubs, hotels and much more.. On the square you can find old buildings like the St. Mary's Basilica. Definitely worth going there for a few days.
