Poznan is actually a wonderful place, especially for students, there's so much life and movement, I've been there twice and have always got the best impressions. You should actually see Stary Rynak and Ratusha (Old town), there you can enjoy watching two goats "fighting" right at midday on the local clock:) It's fantastic to see Poznan cuz there's always something new there to explore.

Beautiful place with nice architecture ..... on the old town square you will find zero class monument - town hall. We will also find there - balance, cloth halls and stalls, shambles, arsenal and guardhouse. Its third biggest town square in Poland and one of the most beautifull. You will find there also nice fountains such as Apollo, Neptun. Mars and Prozerpina's.

My friends and I backpacked there in May/June and the weather was perfect. Old town square is very festive during our stay with street performers, musician and food vendors all over the platz. Although surrounded by restaurants, the BBQ cook out that sends the smell of polish saussage in the air is highly recommended!

Great place, with many old style buildings which have been refurbished. And ofcourse cant miss the Church in the middle of it, with famous goats showing at the noon. A lot of great pubs around the place. Really a spot to enjoy in the evening :)

The oldest medieval square of Europe. At this square you can find restaurants, pubs, clubs, hotels and much more.. On the square you can find old buildings like the St. Mary's Basilica. Definitely worth going there for a few days.
