About Sé
This huge fortress-like cathedral was built at the end of the 12th century and the beginning of the 13th century. Very defensive on the outside the inside is pure Gothic in its decoration.
There is also a cloister next door in the same style and a museum dedictated to sacred art Payment Accepted:

Jul 14, 2009 Impressive and at the same time very lovely. Driving to Evora the Sé is one of the first things you notice as it stand at the top of the hill Evora is built on. The two huge towers and the massive walls makes you realise that Portugal must have really been at war with the Moors to built such a fortress and call it a cathedral. Loved the cloister, it is just picture perfect. When I was there two years ago the museum of sacred art was in one of the towers. Giving you an excuse to climb them and enjoy the view. Now it seems that the museum moved to a building next door. But I'm not really sure.
