Estoril is a seaside resort and civil parish of the portuguese municipality of Cascais. The Estoril coast is close to Lisbon, the capital of Portugal. Estoril has a famous casino, Caso do Estoril. There are remains of several roman mansions dating back around 2,000 years. Estoril used to be a significant fishing port. Since the early 20th century it has been important mostly as a tourist destination. The city is served by a train that connects to Lisbon and Cascais, and it's a very nice and calm city.

The casino is situated in a very nice and quiet park. It's better to stay outside of this casino and watch the Atlantic.

Spent my birthday evening here, great fun & lovely staff. area is very quite though would not recommend for a long break
