About Museo do Teatro Romano
The museum was built on the spot they discovered a roman teatre dating from the beginning of the first century. The teatre was abandoned in the fourth century and the stones were re used in other building. The museum uses modern technology to bring the teatre back to life.

Walk from the front of the se to the back, keeping the se on your right hand side. On your left hand side it is indicated, you have to walk up a stair.

Looking just at the remains of the teatre it is a bit disappointing. But the museum is so well constructed it doesn't matter. Really good exhibition on the roman history of Lisboa. Very interactive and above all free so definitly worth a short visit.
