Opened in 1998, the Oceanário was the centerpiece of the XXth Century's last World Fair, themed "The Oceans, a Heritage for the Future". All ages enjoy the big central water tank hosting extremely big variety of underwater species, surrounded on a few levels by smaller aquariums hosting other species. If you like underwater life is a must to see this place.

worth the money! beautiful variety of fish, penguins, starfish and other oddities! english translations too the area around it is lovely too

amazing building, very interesting exhibitions. fun family experience and more! :) worth the small admission fee
