Historical place, good place for people who like a nice ruine. When I was there there were too many people to actually enjoy it. Right behind the Paco dos duques can be combined very well.

Commonly known as the birthplace of the Portuguese kingdom, the castle of Guimarães is a well preserved medieval set of structures, surrounded by the city.

Good place to visit,even in ruines. Where Portugal was born as they like to say. Incredible situation in the middle of the town and nice surroundings

It's just like the castle i've always immagined as a kid. in the top of the mountains... great walls. Surprisingly great!

É pena que não esteja mais bem tratado. Só estão as ruínas, mas não deixa de ser um sítio imponente.
