Beautiful bridge build by Eiffel's office, is an important symbol of the city. Today the upper part is also used by the light train and below the cars and pedestrians can still use to go to the city of Vila Nova de Gaia. The views for both cities - Porto and Gaia - and absolutely astonishing. It is situated in the historical part of the city, world heritage by UNESCO.

This two level iron bridge divides the 2 important cities of north of Portugal, Porto and Gaia, separated by Douro river. There are 6 bridges, but this one is the oldest (1886), designed by Gustave Eiffel.

Built by Eiffel's disciple,this nice bridge where you can walk throught joins Porto with Vilanova de Gaia. Nice views of typical Porto houses and river full of boats.Nice!!

Amazing view but certainly not adequate for people with vertigo! The passing tram adds to the adrenaline rush.
