Located at the top of the Santa Luzia mount this proto-urban fortified settlement was continously occupied from the Iron Age to the Roman period as it had a magnificent strategic position. The ruins have been known since the mid-17th century., even so only one third of the total area has been uncovered. There are several dwellings, mainly organised into defined areas or blocks that are divided by walls and clearly established paths, some of which are paved.

Interesting place, completly different atmosphere from the rest of the mount. You walk over walk way constructed over the ruins so you have a good overview. There is some good if what spares information there. To get the bigger picture buy the little pamflet for 1 euro.
