The old university is definitly worth a visit even if you don't want to pay to enter the old Library and the Sala dos Capelos you should go. To view from the main square is really nice and the buildings itself have a certain charme. I especially liked the clock tower.

Also studing in this University as an Erasmus.
One of the firsts Universities of the world.
There we can see the Cabra (Clock Tower), Joanine Lybrary, the Weapons room, the antique exams room, and more.

Its an very old university, maybe one of the oldest of whole europe.
From up there u have a good view around the city and the river.

Great city, lots of monuments, lots of students, lots of beer.
Go see it with your own eyes! :)

A must when you're visiting Portugal.. is like going to Rome and miss the St. Peter Square!
