I was only in Puerto Rico for a few hours, but it was neat to walk through the fortress ground, see the old walls and canons. Apparently this for tis the largest of its kind built by the Spanish in the "New World." Worth a visit if you're in the area.

This fort offers great views of the Caribbean Ocean. Walking up to it is the way to go because you get the full experience of San Juan.
