This is the beginning of the north route into the Inland Sea. A long sand dune filled drive to this enormous body of water in the Qatari desert. Without experience driving on dunes I would recommend hiring a tour guide, which will give you a very exciting ride since they know the dunes very well. After a few years of practice we took to the dunes and still found ourselves stuck in the sand a couple times. Yes, we did lower our tire pressure to 20psi, but that only helps it isn't fool proof. This is a favorite because it shows as the furthest place I have been and since I have been to places all around it too it must be exactly on the other side of the world from me.
