Getting there:
Take the road towards Brasov. Pass the village Magura app 35 km from Buzau. The road leads up hill where you find a hotel/ restaurant (good and cheap, recomended). Turn left with the hotel. Follow road app 15 km until monastery.

The monastery is beautifully placed up in the hills in a beech forest. It is quiet and cosy. Not spectacular, but well worth visiting. You might even stay the night over. Near by is the "famous" sculpture park. Young artists where invited to attend with their sculptures in stoone. Most of them just as ugly as Communism was - an exelent monument over the communism, only that these rocks seem to last a little longer
