Piaţa Sfatului es una construcción perfectamente geométrica situada justo en el centro histórico de Brasov. Está circundada de las casas típicas de la zona, de una o dos plantas, de paredes color pastel y tejados rojos, y alberga dos grandes edificios: el ayuntamiento y la iglésia negra: una impresionante construcción y la iglesia gótica construida más al este de Europa.
