Building
This beautifully ornate cathedral with it's multicolored onion domes dominates Moscow's Red Square and represents the epitome of Russian churches.  It's interior is structured as a collection of 9 separate chapels, each filled with their own collection of artwork, icons and medieval painted walls.

St. Basil's Cathedral is the best looking place in the whole of Moscow city and it is like the jewel in the crown of Moscow. Sitting pretty on one side of the great Red Square with the Kremlin, Lenin's Mausoleum and the GUM store on the other sides it is one of the most beautiful architectural structures with a lot of fantastic icons and artwork inside the cathedral. A must see place in Moscow and Russia.

In the center of Moscow, at the Red Square and Kremlin, there is this beautiful church, monument... From outside it's so beautiful and traditional. From the inside i do not recommend... Only if you have interest in church stuff... But it's pretty poor inside...

A unique cathedral placed on a historic and scenic square, nonetheless, everyday life goes on around with couples having their wedding picture taking in front of this beautiful cathedral

A beautiful catherdral that sits next to the Kremlin and Red Square, has seen a lot of history from the Russian empire, through the Bulshivics, communists, and now Russia again.

Truely stunning. Gorgeous from the outide, both during the day and at night. Also it is very intricate inside. Inside is smaller than I thought. Still it is lovely. Must see!
