The mains-street, full of holes in the road and a big contrast between rich and poor... Once bought thirty ice-cones for about Euro 1,- Great jazz-bars with terrible food... When you're in St.Petersburg you must see it and shop there...
Also must see St.Peter and Paul's Cathedral.

Main street of Saint Petersburg and nice for strolling up and down the street. If you have enough money you can even try some little bit of shopping but be warned ... the shops are very expensive!

Nevsky prospekt - Nevsky avenue - is the central street in the heart of the city. All the roads lead to Nevsky. Everyone goes there and everything is to be found there.

St.Petersburg is an really nice and beautful city, part of it is like Venice and part is like Paris, but still there are really ugly parts also.
