The edifice is a masterpiece. It's all covered with valued stones like malachite and lapis-lazuli. The walls are inlayed with a variety of marble stone and there are plenty of religious paintings all around. The interior is beautiful but the outside look is so stunning and memorable, you'll always recognize St. Isaacs as one of top landmarks of St Petersburg.

Beautiful cathedral in the heart of St Petersburg. Be sure to climb to the rooftop for an amazing view of the city center. Just make sure to be dressed for the weather, as it can get pretty windy up there, even in the summer time.

You ought to go all the way up to the top, the view is fantastic. There are a lot of stairs though. And you have to pay to take pictures...

Absolutely amazing, has a great history, take a scarf/hat to the top, it's really windy and charge your camera in advance!
