One of the places that I consider to be neglected - everyone can touch those marvellous frescoes adorning the walls. I remember my parents had a book about Yaroslavl Frescoes. Now I havea chance to go and see them for real, with my own eyes, there and then. They are beautiful. Precious and sophisticated. So bright in tone and running so deep in their meaning, it makes my heart miss a beat.
