If you can get there--Sob" is a fascinating enclave in the middle of the Arctic Ural Mountains.  The Vorkuta ski club and various other private individuals maintain private lift facilities that can be accessed by consulting with the station master.  DO NOT visit Sob" in winter without a professional guide and provisions: you will die.
