pulau ubin, not so far from changi prison. take bus number 2 to direction changi village. then add with bumboat to the island. take a renting bike about sgd10/day and you can make a loop through the island. there are seafood and local stalls, including coconut drink. my fave choice is nasi lemak. steam rice in coconut milk served with anchovy, peanuts and savoury assortments.

Spend some more money and rent a good bike! Definitely worth the extra 2 dollars so that you can get of the beaten track. Also, be sure to have lunch/dinner at First Stop restaurant. Try the Lemon Chicken and pepper crab! Fingerlicking good...
