It has the largest collection of World War II memorabilia with life-sized replicas, interactive exhibits and even authentic aromas are lovingly recreated. Visitors can browse through more than 245 photographs, documents and film clips on display. When 'classes' are over, head out into the sunshine and examine actual 17th century guns and cannons, or explore the old tunnels. And while you're here, be sure to check out two new docudramas about the war years, three new routes and some brand-new exhibits, guaranteed to make history leap out at you. Feb 2, 2009 Fort Siloso was the headquaters for the British defense of Singapore Island during WWII. While it is now a tourist attraction they have managed to retain much of the original fort, along with much of the armament that was used to through its operational span. They have made several interactive displays including the life of the average soldier and the occupation. The best part is the surrender chambers. In this they have recreated both the british surrender to the Japanese and the Japanese surrender to the Allies. Fort Siloso is found on Sentosa island and is a must see for anyone interested in miltary history Oct 17, 2010 a nice place in the stressy city, you can be alone somewhere in the park, the historical part is also interesting
