It's the world's first nocturnal zoo. Best time to see it is after 7 PM. Once you get there , you have a welcome program which constitutes the tribal dance of Singaporeans of the yester years. What's most amazing about it is the energy - it captivates you! Just when you think it's over , you'll be surprised to find the dances off the stage and with the crowd pulling them to join the dance. You can treat your tummy before you get on the train!! And once you're on it.. it's an experience of a lifetime. You can't use your cams at night coz it will be disturb the animals... reason being that unlike most conventional zoos majority of the animals are not caged!! Very clever designing of course... there's a deep - wide ditch that separates the main road from the animals on the other end... so you see them like you would in a forest - open and free !! You can get off at the various stops and take on foot to see more of the birds and bats ( harmless ) and explore the rest. Pay 50 bucks and take a pic of you and your partner / friends in a nice Night Safari paper frame. It's very clever and must see in Singapore !
