It is actually called "the Museum of Slovak National Uprising" - not the war museum - and focuses on anti-nazi struggle during the Second World War. In addition it organises different exhibitions of visual arts and recently they openned their viewing hall for a "barbakan film club". Each wednesday they will organise a veiwing of interesting (not mainstream) movies. more at : http://www.muzeumsnp.sk - but only in Slovak language I am affraid.

The most interesting in this city is national war museum. You can feel the situation in Slovakia in first and second world war.
