Dec 22, 2011 compare to other cities i've visited, there's not much to see. but as a citizen:) my duty is to recommend, especially if you are a first time visitor, the historical old town in the centre of the city.. Hlavna st. with slovakia's largest gothic church St. Elisabeth cathedral from the 14th century, St. Urban tower, the neo-baroque State theater and many more monumental buildings standing on this street. For an eating visit:) worth restaurant 12 apostols on the Kovacska st. which is in the building of national cultural monument or great sushi restaurant Bamboo, or Kelt restaurant on Hlavna st. For a nightlife definitely and only go to the club Ibiza at Novomeskeho st. (just say Ibiza, everyone will know) or Jazz club on Kovacska st. Apr 6, 2012 Nice old-city, a hundred years ago it was a one of the centers of Austro-hungarian empire so the part of architecture remained. The old city is really a great place to get some walk and have a good dinner
