Bled Lake

Picture postcard stuff, chilled-out and beautiful. Great for relaxing and doing some walking and hiking. Hiked up to Mount Triglav, took six days (taking in the amazing scenery) and was well worth it.Stayed at the comfy little camping ground at the opposite end from the town. Nightlife not spectacular but plenty of bars.

This is one of the most amazing places I've ever been. A lake surrounded by mountains and trees everywhere. There's a very small island, off centre, in the middle of the lake with a beautiful church on it and high on the cliff stands the castle, overlooking the small town. Took my breath away..

Been here in November, 2008. First day with snowing, second day with a view in white, third day with the sunshine.The lake changes lovely with the weather. Very small but subtle town with fantastic lakeview, surrounded with the moutains, all the beautiful seems live so closely in your backyard.

One of the most pristine, breathtaking places I have ever been to, walked around the enitre lake, took us a few hours but so worth it for the views alone. Very cold in winter but just magic!! Looks like every fairy tale packed into one place.

Stunning lake, the once held the world rowing championships here, you can get a boat ride out to the church on the island in the middle which is worth them money
