1.6km-long Vintgar Gorge has a renovated century-old wooden walkway which crisscrosses the fizzing Radovna River for the first 700m with the scenery becoming tamer after. Then passes a tall railway bridge, a spray-spouting weir and then ending at the Sum Waterfall.

This was a great place to visit! The gorge is beautiful and the hike isn't at all strenuous! :) The water is crystal clear and very blue - a photographers dream!

Vintgar Gorge is only 4km outside of Bled, and costs around 3 euros to enter.

The gorge is beautiful and well worth the visit. The water is so clear that you can see the fish and the waterfall makes the 1.6km of walking all worth it.
