bieng there gives u a feeling of a great achievment to reach the most south part of africa,u can sea the difference in water colour between two oceans,(the atlantic and indian )u have the feeling of putting ur feet one in each ocean ,or tasting the water to find the indian ocean more spicy than the other ,take the freshest air u ever had into ur lungs, have a vast mountain view for the two oceans if able to climb,I really felt like a great discoverer around the world

There is a very common misconception that the Cape of Good Hope is the southern tip of Africa and the dividing point between the Atlantic and Indian Occeans. It is in fact the Cape Agulhas a few kilometres away. Regardless, its a beautiful spot; awesome features and rugged landscape. Beautiful scenery.

Not exactly in Cape Town, but some miles southward: the lighthouse on top of the southern cliff of the peninsula with a beautifull view on the atlantic ocean. We even saw a whale in the distance. Wonderfull view on the cliffs on the other side of the bay.

the drive to cape point takes you through some of the most beautiful landscapes, from wine valleys through high mountain past an amazing coastline and coastal towns. Until you arrive at the barren windswept cape point. Watch out for the baboons!
