Boulders Beach near Simonstown allows visitors to see the local African Penguin and Jackass Penguin. Wooden walkways allow visitors to view the penguins without disturbing them, while nearby is a section that can be used by human visitors.

An amazing place, where the penguins wonder freely, unfussed by the awed humans. The favourite day of my honeymoon!!

Here you can see African penguins. There are boards to walk on. There are penguins on the beach. The viewing platforms give a superb view.

Its a must stop for tourists. It used to be a swimming beach, nowdays it is restricted to penguins only.

You can still visit the penguins at Foxy Beach, where where newly-constructed boardwalks take you to within a few meters of the birds.

If you want to get real close, there is still a small swimming spot for locals just next to the tourist attraction.

If you don't go in at the main entrance but continue a bit further down the beach you get to an entrance where you don't pay a fee and can swim in rock-pools while the penguins are sitting around you...

Just the most beautiful part of South Africa. Visit a wine farm, visit Franschhoek, go up Table Mountain and don't forget about Adderley Street with the flower people... :)
