coming from the lowveld you pass green tinged rocky outcrops and then the drive reveals amazing vistas at every turn, after seeing a series of waterfalls - 10 rand to see! you come to god's window - aptly named 1800mtre lookout over the escarpment with views all the way to Mozambique - the feeling of smallness is all encompassing

You just gotta check this area out thats all i can say about that.....natural beauty at its finest lots of little towns based around the gold boom of the 1800s to early 1900s very rustic. very scenic, very beautiful......
