I love the sights and smells of the open market. If you love seafood in all forms, and fresh fruits and vegetables, they're here. I was warned not to eat the vegetables when I got there because the growers use all forms of animal waste to fertilize their produce. I ate them anyway with no ill effects. You will find some "black market" items, such as American products obtained from the local military installations, but why buy them when you're there to experience Korea?
