Apr 16, 2012 The whole area between the Guadalquivir river and the modern city is not to be missed. Walk through the Judería (former Jewish neighbourhood), the Callecita de las Flores (Flowers Alley), enter the Alcazar de los reyes Cristianos and circle around and inside the Mezquita-Cathedral - after all that, cross the river using the Roman Bridge. It's just a 10min walk from the trains station and can be done in 5-6hs, on a day trip from Seville or Granada. Jul 28, 2008 Cordoba's very old centre is not to be missed, on any tour. the curch-mosque is breath taking, but so are the narrow streets leading away from that monument. Very nice to hang around in, hit a nice restaurant. Look for Maimonides' statue and the very tiny little street that commemorates Averoes (ibn rosj) Oct 29, 2008 Former Jewish area, lots of little alleys with white painted houses - too bright for the eyes in summer ;-) - great to wander around, see the fortress, the mesquita, etc... went there by train from sevilla , only 45 minutes and then only half an hour walk to the historic centre
