Oct 12, 2008 This is the best place to drink some tea, relax and enjoy de beauty of the city, tiny streets where you can find some of the best teashops and the best massage centres, at night some good beer and chill out. At midday in autumm or winter is the best place to walk all day, get inside its alleys and find some bargained moorish clothes and souvenirs. Past 7pm i don't recommend people to walk arround in the alleys, it could be a bit dangerous. The best thing you can do is take a mini bus that takes you there, they go really fast and it is really exciting to feel the bus inches away from the walls of the houses (since most of the streets dont have sidewalks), finish the trip in la Alhambra and then a visit to the Mirador at sunset!!! best way to spend ur day!! Jun 11, 2009 The only part of Granada's Islamic neighborhoods to escape the reconquista torchings and "remodelings," Granada's traditional Islamic quarter- the Albaicín- remains just as captivating and atmospheric as it was hundreds of years ago. No wonder it has been named a World Heritage Site! Feb 9, 2010 There's a lot to look at and if you want souvenirs for friends and family this is a good area to get it! Plus it's not far from Al-hambra. Aug 20, 2008 L'Albaycin de Granada : a great place to chill out. Go to a teteria, shop around. Open your eyes. Smell the place. Loved it !
