Berlanga de Duero is a municipality located in the province of Soria , Castile and León , Spain . According to the 2004 census ( INE ), the municipality has a population of 1,099 inhabitants.

The castle (1€), originated as an Arab Fortress, althoug most of it was built in the 15th and 16th centuries. The walls are preserved in a reasonable state, but little remains of the castle buildings or the elaborate gardens that once sorrounded them. It is nevertheles picturesque.

One of the largest castles in Spain. Originally an Arabic castle-fortress built early in the XI century, conquered by the Christian . Located at a crossroad in the frontier between the middle-age Kingdoms of Castilla and Aragón, between the mountains
In a hill over the old city of Molina de Aragón, about 200 km from Madrid and Zaragoza
