This was an all-round fantastic place. I'm not a gardener or garden person, but this is much more than a few plants. Huge trees, vast open fields, plenty of picnic areas with benches or shady areas to enjoy the views too. The indoor orchid house was interesting as well. Fun place to walk around for a couple of hours. It is a place very popular for young couples.

The Royal Botanic Gardens in Peradeniya (near the city of Kandy) are worth a visit - exotic plants, nice landscaping and many romantic places ...

The garden is really worth visit as it relaxing you of the other historical objects visit in Sri Lanka! It really does!
