Park combining culture, history and wildlife that was formerly the parkland of a stately home. Beautiful gardens and parkland contain rose garden, sculpture park, adventure playground for children and a small zoo-like area containing native species.

Head north from Karlstad on the E45 until as you near Sunne you see the entrance for the park on the right. There is a sculpture of an eagle just near the entrance on the right-hand side of the road.

The gardens and other attractions take a while to take in, so give yourself enough time. Its best to take your time and go at your own pace rather than rush. Its lovely in the summer on a sunny day, especially with glimpses of lake Fryken through the trees. Great place to go as a family, has something that will suit all ages and activities.
