May 13, 2010 The Basel Münster is a beautiful cathedral overlooking the Rhine. It is definitely worth the effort to climb up the steps to the top of the tower where you will be rewarded with a beautiful view of the city and the river below. I also recommend a walk around the cloisters where there are many interesting artifacts on display. Nov 21, 2008 This cathedral is something special! We climb to the top everytime we come to Bern and the view is honestly amazing! All the red rooftops, the dam and the view of the entire city..Also to note is the art work at the front entrance of the cathedral.. angels and demons. Jul 19, 2008 Beautiful, ancient church in roman/gotic style; accessible towers with a great view from the top
