The city of Lucerne is my favorite city in all of Switzerland. Lucerne has beautiful mountain Pilatus, wonderful lake, great walks, great shopping, great restaurants and hotels. People are very friendly. I was born in Lucerne, lived and worked there too. Great place!!!

Spend a day on the lake of lucerne, go on a steam ship, enjoy the sun in the park "Aufschuette" or just rent a "pedalo" and paddle around.. JUST GREAT!

There is something very peaceful about this quiet lake tucked in between the Swiss Alps. Small villages line the edge of the lake.
