Sadly it was a bit cloudy when I went up Mt. Pilatus, but the view was still amazing! Also, there is a half-way point in which you change cable cars. On your way down, keep in mind you can SLED DOWN from the half-way point! I didn't do it, and have always regretted it!

Reach the top via the Pilatus Railway, the world’s steepest cogwheel railway from Alpnachstad. Or from the aerial panorama gondolas and aerial cableways from Kriens. Once at the top, you get an amazing view of the surrounding mountains and of Lake Lucerne.

In winter its cool.. very cold.. very thick with snow. Beautiful views, especially at sunset - breathtaking. Cable ride-fun.
