The "Vierwaldstättersee", called Lake Lucerne in English, is a nice lake. In summer it's warm enough to go swimming or have a dive at one of the dive sites all around the lake. But pay attention, that in minimum you need a 7mm neopren suit with hood!
In summer, there are also nice ship turns you can make from Lucerne to Flüelen and back. The nicest way to do this trip, is to take one of the steam-ships at Lucerne.
