The Bundesplatz is a plaza in the Old City of Bern, the medieval city center of Bern, Switzerland. It is part of the Innere Neustadt which was built during the second expansion in 1255 to 1260, though the plaza wasn't built until much later. It is located in front of the Bundeshaus and it is part of the UNESCO Cultural World Heritage Site that encompasses the Old City.

Always a nice place to visit. There are lots of fountains and you can have a drink in the nearby restaurants. Bundesplatz is nice to see in the evening and a must when you visit Bern. The house of parliament is near which you can also visit

very funny in sumertime, watching the kids playing in the fountains! an excellent for buying fresh vegetables or other stuff fresh from the farm at the market on saturday!

A great place to be. Just in front of the swiss parliament house. There are restaurants and bars just on a place beside. It's in the middle of the city of Bern.
