Considered to be one of the top attractions of Bern, Zytglogge is a medieval clocktower built during the early 13th century.  Zytglogge translates to mean "time bell."

For someone who's seen the Zytglogge about 10000000 times, it's just not that interesting. The only interesting thing about is the crowd of tourists waiting for the clock. For me the clocktower in Prag was much more impressing...

Beautiful clock tower in Bern - it's a MUST see. And all the shops and restaurants and cafes are surrounding this tower anyways!

Bern is a great City, and the Zytglogge is one of its must see sights. Try to visit on Swiss National Day in August.

the town's landmark.. there are a lot of chinese and japanese, waiting for the golden man who rings the bell
