The falls are located on the High Rhine between the municipalities of Neuhausen am Rheinfall and Laufen-Uhwiesen, near the town of Schaffhausen in northern Switzerland, between the cantons of Schaffhausen and Zürich.

wonderful and refreshing sceneries... as usual public transportation there is perfectly timed meaning u can really plan to relax and enjoy the falls and area surrounding it.

Not just in summertime, also in winter it's worth a visit with all the ice (in case it's cold enoth). And don't forget to cross the bridge to the castel of Laufen.

make sure the weather is bright and sunny........ use a tripod for good pics......

easy to reach by a bus from the central station.
